Villa Rentals in the Tuscan Maremma

This is an area of Italy bordering the Tyrrhenian Sea south of Grosseto in the south west of Tuscany.

It is a region of wide open spaces, swaying wheat field, hills polka-dotted with olive tress, rambling vineyards bearing native grapes, overgrown fig trees and rampant prickly pears, long beaches and wild animals. The most important towns are the seaside Ansedonia that faces the Argentario peninsula and enjoys wonderful sunsets and Capalbio that sits relatively undisturbed on a hilltop with views of the sea just 15 minutes drive away.
